To get an munchlax is by putting honey on a honey tree and theres a chance you might see munchlax and catch it. Also munchlax can't be breeded only if it was an snorlax. I hoped this answered your question.

I know that one way too get a munchlax, is to smother a tree with any honey that you may have. Then you simply hope for the best, and wait.

You can RARELY find some Munchlax on Sweet Honey Trees if you put a lot of honey in them. But I'll emphasize that he is RARE.
You're better off transfering a female Snorlax from Fire Red or Leaf Green into Diamond (or Pearl), and breeding him with Ditto while holding the Full Insence to get a Munchlax.

There are 2 ways to get a munchlax
1)smother a tree with honey and wait which is very rare
2)get a snorlax from firered or any gba game, give it a full incense and breed it..

Put some honey on a tree and wait and there is a slim chance you will see a munchlax but to breed one you have to get a snorlax give it a full insence and breed it

Munchlax is found at the honey tree by the Valley Windworks, In the Floaroma Meadow, by the house, however, it is the second rarest Pokemon to find, next to female Combees.

Well, first work out which honey trees have the Pokemon 'cherim' then once you have found it, slather around 20 honey on it then come back after 6 hours and 15/30 minutes then it has a high chance of it being a munchlax or heracross. Thank you.
