How Do I EV train?

I need help on EV training Pokemon can you explain in detail because it confuses me. Also can you use the action replay cheat "quick EXP gain" to still get the normal EV points you would if you had did it normally. And can you use "wild Pokemon Modifier" to find the Pokemon you want to train on and still get normal EV points. Please explain in detail

Aha! Now, here's a hard question that's hard to explain.

It's something that's quite easy to understand once you get it, hard to understand if you're new at it, and very hard to explain.

First of all, EV means Effort Value. These are values that are gained in your stats once you beat a pokemon. Which stats you gain are based on the IV's, or Individual Values, of your opponent. The IV's of a Pokemon are limited to maybe two or three, at most. It's the stat(s) that the Pokemon is strongest in.

For example, an Alakazam, which has a high Special Attack, might have +3 Special Attack IV's, and battling this Pokemon will help increase your Special Attack stat once you gain a level.

Or, a Tyranitar, which has a high Attack, might have +3 Attack IV, and battling this Pokemon will help increase your Attack stat once you gain a level.

This is where the process you use to level up ocmes in. If you cheat and use Rare Candies to level up, then you're battling nothing, and your stats will rise in little amounts. However, if you actually level up your Pokemon by battling other Pokemon, then your stats will raise by a large amount.

That's basically all there is to know about EV Training. I'm sorry if I confused you, I tried the best I could.

Yes. This website has action replay codes for more experience. I would recommend you looking them up here so that you can use them.

Hope this helps.
