Question for Pokemon Diamond
When you first turn on the game is says new game and the game you all ready started?if I click on new game would it start the hole game over.

Good question. This might be one confusing part of the new Pokemon.
The answer is simply, no. In fact, you can start a new game for the fun of it, the game will not even let you save until you completely erase the old file. If you hit save, the message, "Another fiile exist, so no save will occur" or something close to that. Hope this helps.

If this is the first time you're playing Diamond, the only choice you have is basically "New Game". But once you have a file, there's also "Continue". If you're looking to continue the game you were playing before, choose "Continue".
However, if you click "New Game" when you have a file already in use, it will not just simply delete the current file and replace it with this file. You need to save your new file over the old file MANUALLY before it can disappear.
Or, on the title screen, you can press "SELECT + UP + B" to delete your current file. (NOTE: you must do this in order to save your new game; if you start a new game while you have a current file, you will not be able to save.)
And with that last statement said, starting a new game will not just erase the current file.
