What happens after Elite 4 ?

Question asked by Team SuperCheats on

What happens after Elite 4 ?

Okay, I've beaten the Elite 4 Smile But what do I do now?

My Pokedex is not complete however, and still need to find:

Tangela
Alakazam
Moltres
Dragonair

If anyone has some exact instructions for finding these dudes it would be helpful. The Pokedex we have is okay, but a bit brief for exact locations.

Also, I still can't get into the temple in Snowport City.

Comment:(Dec 22 2007) Thanks guys, I appreciate the advice.

Well, first, you have to obtain the National Pokedex for any of those pokemon. This is done by seeing all 150 Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex, and doing this the easy way is by battling all the trainers in the game. Once that's accomplished, go to Sandgem Town and in Rowan's lab. Go up and talk to him, and Oak will show up and eventually give you the National Dex. After a small chat, Rowan will give you the Poke Radar.

Now that you have the National Dex, a small area has appeared to the side of Route 214; going here will lead you to another legendary Pokemon battle, Giratina, who is level 70. You can attempt to catch him if you want, but that's not what you need help with.

With the National Dex, you should be able to access Snowpoint Temple. At the bottom of this temple is a statue of Regigigas, which will only come to life and battle you if you migrate Regirock, Regice, and Registeel into your Diamond from Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald. The three "Regi's" (as they're known) also need to be in your team as you examine the "statue".

While in Snowpoint City, and go to the far southwest corner; in the area where there's nothing besides some machines, a person, and a sailor. Talk to the sailor and he'll bring you to the Eastern Island, or more specifically, to the Fight Area. Your rival will be waiting for you, and you'll also meet an interesting character. Exploring this island is something for you to do.

Now, for the Pokemon you need help finding.

First of all, Moltres cannot be found in-game. You need to migrate him from either Fire Red or Leaf Green.

Tangela can only be found in swarms on the top of Mt. Coronet (on the mountainside, along the way to reach Spear Pillar). To find out which Pokemon is swarming and where, go to Sandgem Town and go in Dawn/Lukas's house. Talk to their little sibling, and they'll mention a different Pokemon every day, and where they can be found. (The Pokemon she mentions is random, and will only occur on the specified route on that day only.) She might mention Tangela. When she does, get ready and go to the mountainside of Mt. Coronet, and run around in the grass to run into Tangela.

Alakazam evolves from Kadabra when you trade him (with another Diamond, or Pearl). And Kadabra is evolved from Abra at level 16. However, to find a trainer who has Alakazam, you need to travel through Victory Road and fight some trainers you've never fought. A Psychic somewhere in the room with all the water should have an Alakazam.

Dragonair can be found in Mt. Coronet, in the room with the waterfall. To get to this room, you need to travel through Mt. Coronet the same way as you did when you were trying to reach Spear Pillar and battle Dialga. Start at Oreburgh City and work your way up. Once you reach this room, go to the top of the Waterfall and use a Super Rod. There's a very small chance that you'll fish up a Dragonair, however there's a better chance you'll run into Dratini; if you level this little guy up to level 30, he'll evolve into Dragonair.

Ok to get,
Tangela: you need to migrate from either Leafgreen or Firered.
Alakazam: Theres an trainer with Alakazam so keep versing the trainers untill you find alkazam.
Moltres: You need to migrate from Firered or Leafgreen
Dragonair: You also need to migrate from leafgreen or firered.

To be able to go inside ice temple in Snow Point City you must put all three regi's in your party then The Pokemon League Champion with back you up then you are able to head off inside.

Umm, I'm a bit confused as to why you can't get into the temple at snowpoint, if, as you say, you have all but those four pokedex... You need the three regis from E/S/R in you party to get in. And I think to have seen them you should have had to trade them to your game... If you still have them, put them anywhere in your party and got to the girl at the gate. She will let you in.

Moltres you will be able to catch in LG/FR and migrate.
Alakazam - you will need to catch an abra, evolve it to an alakazam then trade it with anyone (i don't think it works by migration) to evolve it again to alakazam. Then have them trade it back to you.
Tangela- is a swarming Pokemon in this game after you have beaten the E4... Ask your rival's little sister about what Pokemon is swarming today (Dawn's or Lucas's depending on if you are a boy or girl in the game) and if it's tangela, shell tell you where they are, too... Likely mount coronet, though.
Dragonair-get a dratini, evolve it into dragonair... Then into dragonite...
