I can't really remember right but I think you have to go to Sunnyshore City. If it ain't that one then just go to the city you ain't been to yet.

I've got seven badges, been to the lake, tge painting is still there, nothing happened, I'm still unsure of where this grunt appears. I've searched through several sites and videos and nothing is clear.v-gamer answered:
You go to Lake Acuity, just east of Snowpoint City.
You watch a little cutscene where you rival loses to one of the commanders. They tell you where they're heading, which is just stupid of them... Go to Veilstone City, and in front of the Galactic Headquarters is some Galactic Grunt. Talk to him, and after he runs off, he drops the Storage Key. Use this to access the Galactic Warehouse. After running around in there, you should eventually find a Galactic Key. Use this to access the Galactic Headquarters, and after you eventually beat Cyrus and Saturn, and rescue the three pixies, your next destination is the top of Mt. Coronet.

You must catch or defeat the legendary Pokemon, Dialga. After that, Sunyshore City is open to you.

You go through mount coronet and catch dialga. When you go to valor lakefront,the guy blocking the way to sunnyshore city will be gone

Ill give you a step by step:
1) If you haven't already go to Lake Acuity, here a Galactic Commander has just finished off Rival. She then runs off saying she's going to HQ in Veilstone.
2) Go to Veilstone Galactic HQ, there's a Grunt admiring an antenna. He'll run off when you talk to him and drop a Storage Key. Pick it up.
3) Go to Veilstone Galactic Warehouse. Open the sliding doors with the Storage Key. Then inside the maze of corridors, try to find the Galactic Key.
4) When found, go back to the Veilstone Galactic HQ and you'll be able to get in. Now find your way through this maze. You should find Galactic Boss Cyrus, he'll challenge you. When you've beaten him he'll say that he's off to the peak of Mt. Coronet, give you a Master Ball and then rush off, leaving you free to save the Legendary Trio.
5) If you need to, revive your Pokemon in the Galactic Nap Room. Then, go to the Yellow Warper.
6) In this area, there are two scientists that may challenge you. Then through the doors is a Galactic Commander and the Legendary Trio, trapped in machines. The Commander will challenge you. When defeated she will step back, allowing you to press the big red button that frees the trio. When the 3 have teleported away, Team Galactic will disappear to Mt. Coronet. Go back to the room where you battled Cyrus and the doorway that was previously blocked up isn't now. Go to the Warper in this newly opened room. Now you can make a quick escape from Veilstone Galactic HQ.
7) Go to Oreburgh, then go to Mt. Coronet and find your way to the peak. You are now at Spear Pillar. After a double challenge from Grunts. Cyrus will release Dialga. Double challenge the 2 Commanders with Rival to back you up.
8) When the Commanders are beaten, Rival will heal you then run off. Now Cyrus will challenge you.
9) Once the Boss is beaten, Rowan and Dawn will appear. Dawn tells you to challenge Dialga. Do so.
10) Now Dialga's out of the picture, you can go. However, you cannot fly from Spear Pillar. Go to Pastoria or Veilstone. From either of these places, go to the road to Sunyshore, now free for you to wander.
11) When you're in Sunyshore, have fun!

I talked to the guy at the front of the Veilstone Galactic HQ a while ago, received/found no key after he left, and now I'm back and unable to get into the HQ.
Any ideas?

I got stuck after getting the 7th badge. I went back to the library in Canalave (even though I'd already been there) went upstairs and Rowan, Lucas and my rival were there.
That started an Earthquake and I was sent to Lake Valor to investigate mirage Pokemon.

Thanks now I know that I need 2 go to the top of mt. Coronet but at the bottom there are grunts and a grunt blocking the entrence to a cave? Anyone know how 2 get passed him?

you have to get a galactic key in one of the roooms there is a guy facing boxes and he ocasionally looks away but go in that room with the key you have and you will get the galactic key o and when you enter the warehouse the it is the first room. then you go in the hq building and open the door and start venturing around once you go up the stairs and you will get to this one guy who will be walking around looking up and down and if you don't want to battle him just walk on square next to him and stay were you are when he goes the other way and he will miss you then use your galactic key you found in the warehouse and enter a room and there will be a leader there. defeat him and then move to the YELLOW square not green,(green will send you to the start) and battle the other leader and then press the button after u defeat her then the creatures will leave and go back to the yellow square and then green. hope i helped.If you are still looking for help with this game we have more questions and answers for you to check.
