You can buy wi-fi at almost any gaming store. What you are looking for is a nintendo wi-fi usb. Thats what you want, it should cost around thirty dollers.

You have to buy it at a store that sells Wi-Fi >_> You can't buy it in the game, if that's what you're wondering.
Stores would include places such as Best Buy, Radio Shack, or even Target or Wal-Mart.
You could also buy it online, but I reccomend to do this as a last resort. You'd have to pay extra for Shipping and Handling and really isn't worth the wait, when you can just go to a store and buy one.

Well you can't really 'buy' wifi. Im not really sure it's a 'thing'. Wifi is basically the capability to be connected to the internet without cables i.e. Wireless. Your DS has wireless capability built rght in, the main issue is that you most likely don't have a wireless internet hotspot. A place that is sending out the waves your DS needs to pick up to connect to the internet. Some public places have them like libraries, universities or starbucks. You can set one up in your house by getting a wireless router. Then you can do all the trades on the GTS you like. Have fun.
