Well, you can't store any Key Items, but I think you can store every other item.
Just go to any PC in any Poke Center (including the one at your house), and go to "Deposit Item", and select that item and the amount you want to store. In order to get the item(s) back, go to "Withdraw Item", and select the item and the amount you would like to get back.

You do not really need to store any items, but I think if you want to there is something on your PC that can do it. But your bag has unlimited space, so why would you need to store things?
