Hi, I've been here before about this question but I just simply cannot work out how to use the poke radar plz plz plz help

Poke radar. Simple. Tips on using it:
1)you must be walking.
2)you must not be surfing or on a bike.
3)you can't be on tall grass or in a cave.

It's really simple. Go in the grass and use the Poke Radar! It can't be used when you're not IN the grass, it can only be used when you're actually IN it. You should see some grass patches shaking, signifying that there's a pokemon there. Sometimes, it shakes quickly. Other times, it shakes slower and has a light yellow dim to it. And very rarely, it'll shake and change colors, signifying there's a SHINY pokemon there. The Poke Radar recharges every 50 steps.

Ok odds are you are thinking it does more then it really does. All you do is click on it say use, or better yet hit register and y-set. Walk into a patch of tall grass and use it. Some of the grass will shake, those patches will have a wild Pokemon appear 100% of the time. If you kill it, patches will shake again. If you run from it, you have to walk 50 or 100 steps before using the radar again. Sometimes you can find Pokemon on the pokeradar that you would not otherwise be able to find anywhere, they are rare though so be careful.

When you use it, watch for shifting areas in the grass. Go to one and a Pokemon is forced out to battle.
