Yes. It's possible. To change it to it's Altered Form, you have to take away the Griseous Orb it should be holding. It's a hack or Action Replay Pokemon if it isn't holding that orb in it's Origin Form because Giritina is supposed to hold that orb to transform into it's Origin Form.

On black and white 2 you goto dragonspiral tower north of icirrus city, go to the floor before you meet the dragon if you have it's stone and go near the ddor but don't go in and an area by it will have the griseous orb to use on giratina. There is also adamant orb for dialga and lustrous orb for palkia
