Question for Pokemon Black 2
Ok, so here's my story. I beat the game, caught lots of legendary Pokemon (not including Kyurem and Zekrom), and I went to the building where the former Team Plasma members are. I found my rival, and I challanged him to a battle. My Tepig, one I recieved in a trade, was defeated along with my Minun, Virizon, Serperior, and Latios. During the battle, when my Serperior was battling, my Tepig was at level 6. It was holding an Exp. Share at the time, and after my Serperior defeated an Unfezent, my Tepig grew to LEVEL 28, 9 levels above the level it evolves into Pignite. After running off to a Pokemon Center, my Tepig did not evolve. Why didn't it?

By removing all necessary information (most of what you said), I think I understand what you are asking. Your Tepig grew 22 levels in one battle thanks to an Exp. Share, but during the battle it fainted. It did not evolve when the battle ended nor did it evolve when healed in the Pokemon Center.
A Pokemon will not evolve after a battle if it fainted. Had you used a Revive on it prior to ending the battle, it would have evolved. Level it up again and you should have a Pignite. Also, a Pokemon that evolves via level will ONLY evolve after a battle where it levels up OR after giving it a Rare Candy (provided it is at a high enough level), this explains why your Tepig didn't do anything after being revived by Nurse Joy.

Check for everstone on the tepid. If the Tepig fainted then you will have to level it up to get it to evolve again.
