A Sage can be found in Relic Castle, in the Dream Yard, in the Cold Storage, on Route 18, on Route 14, and in Chargestone Cave. You cannot find N or Ghetsis.
You cannot find or obtain an Egg on Route 2.

I think the egg you are looking for is on route 18, you get it from a Pokemon ranger at the house at the far end of route 18, a larvesta will hatch from the egg.
