Your best bet would be to train your team. If you don't know were to go, try talking to someone important in game or consult a guide online.

If you are stuck somewhere, then train your Pokemon and teach them good moves. You can also EV train your Pokemon for higher stats. Please name where you are in the game and your Pokemon so I can help.
