If you put two Pokemon of the same Egg Group in the Pokemon Day-Care Center, they will begin to Breed and have Eggs.

As the person below/above me said, you have to put two Pokemon of the same egg group in the day care( you can find the egg group out by searching for the particular Pokemon on bulbapedia or serebii.Ditto can breed with any Pokemon except legendaries. However you need to talk to the old man outside the daycare and see what he has to say.
If he says "The two seem to get along," there is a 50 percent chance of them creating an egg. If he says "The two seem to get along very well!" there is a 75 percent chance. However, if he says that "The two don't seem to like each other," then there is only a 20 percent chance(don't worry,they can still breed, it will just take more time)however, If the man says "The two prefer to play with other Pokemon more than with each other," then there is no chance of them mating.
