Question for Pokemon Black
I was going to catch an axew, and I threw a quick ball. When it hit the axew, and shook a lot, then it only wobbled once before it caught it. Anyone know what happened

It is just a new feature to the game. It makes catching a Pokemon a little easier.

Congrats! You have experienced what is known as a critical capture. Just like a critical hit, it increases the chance of catching a Pokemon by only wobbling once. Critical captures can easily be distinguished by the metal clunk sound when the ball is thrown. Critical captures, although increases the chances of capturing the Pokemon, does not guarantee the Pokemon will be captured.
