That is my problem too.i got this game from gamestop and i cant erase any data.

I agree it works only on ubisoft screen while loading.

I GOT A GAME ON GAMESTOP AND I TRIED EVERYTHING TO REMOVE THE DATA BUT NOTHING WORK SO FAR! Also do not go to gamestop to get a pet game cause you never know that has been used before

I had this same problem. I was trying to clear the data to give the game as a gift.

It worked for me to press L, X, B and SELECT all at the same time, like all of the previous comments. However, you have to do this when the game is on the UBISOFT Screen.
