No there is not a cheat to fast foward time because Nintendogs runs off the same clock as you ds. I have figued ou t is if you can the time/day on the DS it would change the time in Nintendogs. That is one way to do it or you could just wait till the next day.
There is a way to fast forward time but you have to be on setting and put the time ahead by how ever much you want it to be so say you want to be able to take your dog on a walk and you already took him on walk in the last 25 min. Well you just go to settings and change the time to 25 min. Before.
