Well... For one thing Boy Dogs and Girl dogs can both have ribbons on their ears and chest. What it is depended on is their ears. I just learned now that if the ears are Droopy and Saggy, the ribbon will be on their ears. Vice versa. If the dogs ears are cropped and pointed vertically, the ribbon will end up on the chest of the dog. Any dog can have it either way.

Hi readers!!! This question troubled me when I got to it but it is pretty simple. If you get a Caviler K.C Spaniel which has floppy ears the ribbons will be on the ears. So if you get an Alsation or more commonly known as the German Shepard the ribbons will be on the chest since this particular breed has stick up ears. Hope I helped!!! Smile

Maybe it depends on the dogs personality. I found that for naughty dogs it appears on there chest but for good dogs on their heads.
Guest answered:

The ribbons always go on the ears if they have ears that are floppy (beagles, golden retrievers, etc.) And they always go on the chest if they have pointed ears (chihuahuas, german shepherds, etc.)

Hope this helped!
