When you find the Naptime Record on your walk, you put it on and your dogs will go to sleep.

You can also pet it a lot till it starts laying on it's side, and blinking rapidly even when you stop. Once it starts blinking rapidly, STOP PETTING IT! It should soon go to sleep. If you keep petting it it'll shake it off and be half asleep for awhile and you'll have to wait with game on till it falls asleep. It may also randomly sleep on it's own.
