That sounds great! That means you'll get a lot of money, sell the items. To get new dogs you go to the shopping icon on the go out screen, go to kennel, go to buy a dog, and buy the dog you want. You must have under eight dogs to buy a new one. To sell items go to second hand store. To walk a dog if you mean that go to the go out symbol, press walk dog ;)
