I hav just started and I got my dog but know i'm naming him, I say his name.. It works the first bit...but when it goes off and you have to do it yourself, I call him and he comes, I pet him I call him again etc...then after a while it pops up saying that he cannot remember his name !
Then I have to name him all over again...!
What is going on and how can I stop this happening?

Keep renforcing his name. Right after teaching him/her the command, continue to renforce it, the dog needs to constantly remember it's name by you calling it all the time.
Well, you have to call there name repetedly so see if geting closer/farther away helps then it says you shuould teah it sit,do that and POOF! You can go on walks, you can feed it and it will never forget it's name again
