Actually,u press L+R+A+B+Y+X at the nintendogs logo.Hope I helped!
To start a new game press x a b y l are at the same time on the nintendo logo screen.
If you don't know what the nintendog logo is it is when it's loading the screen goes white and the words nintendogs comes up hope this helped
When the orange nintendo sign right wen you start the game press are,l,x,y,b,a at the same time
