That depends on which game you have. I personally reccomend the miniature pinsher. (spelling?) They run SO FAST. It might take a few trips to the park for practice to get a dog at it's top speed, but it's definitely worth it. I have a mini pin named Sparky, and he's won the championship game 11 times in a row. (you can save the game before a contest and turn it off if you think you're not going to win)
Assuming that you have the dashund game, you unlock mini pins at 35,000 trainer points. For the chihuahua version it's 2000, and in the lab version it's one of the starter dogs. You can get a different kind of dog by doing a bark mode with another person. Hope this helps!

I had a Siberian Husky who won the championships 14 times in a row, she caught it every time.
Also, it helps if you have a lucky collar
