Well, there is no way to get it back. You will just have to buy the dog again for a couple of hundred dollars. If the dog was highly trained then you will have to train it again
So sorry, there is no way to get the donated dog back. If your child has completely developed to the dog's bark, go to the kennel, find the donated dog's same look and gender, and wait for it to tackle a different dog. Keep doing this until you find the right bark. My (cursed) brother donated my FAVORITE german shephard, Gloria. Luckily, it only took me one try to find the right look, bark, gender, and personality. Again, so sorry this accident occured and hope this doesn't happen again.
