When you go through the warp into the second part of the level you arrive in an area with a house and 2 trees. Above you are 2 jumping platforms and a blue arrow pointing up. Below you is the cage and some bad guys. PROBLEM: the jumping platforms are out of reach and you can't jump on the house or trees. The walls and floor are solid and cannot be shot through. So you are stuck jumping about until the time runs out and the thing comes to kill you. I have tried to bring a balloon through the warp from the previous area but this does not work. HELP!! I am all out of ideas!

I was stuck at exactly the same spot but eventually I did it!
The solution is to stand still below one of the platforms, do a jump and then right at the top of the jump do a second one, thus double jumping. If you try that several times you'll eventually be lucky and get on the platform.
From there you jump towards the middle (carefully avoiding the spikes at the opening to the top) and then while fallling down press jump repeatedly to start flying. Direct Tiki through the opening and land on the left side. From there you need to steal the vehicle off an enemy so that you can fly through the opening to the right.
