I am not an expert in SMB just a mom trying to help his son... But my 8 year old son has just finished world 8 and he tried to copy his level to another section (where it appear 3 squares and says something about coins in the right bottom...) and he did a wrong movement instead of copying his level (world 8) in square # 1 to square # 2 (which had 0 level), he copied this level to his and he lost everything and now he is super sad, is there any way to recover his level? Is this question make sense to the experts?

I'm sorry to say but if he deleted his file there is no way to get it back. He will have to replay the game to get back to world 8.
So Sorry. Sadly there is no way to recover the lost data. I'm sure your son worked really hard to get to world 8
