W8, first Castle, last coin

In World 8, the first castle has a series of platforms with on/off switches to activate them. I have gone through dozens of times but can't get the last coin I need to win the game. The platform under the red door is missing so I believe Mario must leap up to the top of the ledge running over the red door, but how? I have tried every form of Mario and none can scale the wall to get up to the top of the ledge. Are there hidden blocks he can use to climb up or is there some order the switches must be hit so the last platform appears? Thanks.

Okay, if you don't hit any of the red blocks to change the order of the moving platforms, then there will be a moving platform where it's empty right now, As soon as you duck to get through the wall section you will see some of those rotating blocks & the third coin.

You need to make sure the platform is on the bottom line. Y'know those red thingies that you bash your head on? The ones that change platforms? Good. Here's a list of them to get the coin.

1: Hit the thang before you jump to the platform.
2: Don't touch this one.
3: Leave the thang here alogne.
4: Touch this one then ride the platform to the row of 4 grey blocks.
5: Above the 2nd grey block there's a thang. Guess what. You hit it. Get on the platform and jump o'er the lava ball that tries to get you. Get on the grey thang that the platform goes under and dash back to the platform and jump on the rope. Shwing o'er to the checkpoint.

Pass the 2 rotating triangles and the 3 rotating rectangles and get on the rope. Shwing o'er to the door but do-int go fru it. Get on the platform below, get the Starcoin at the end then go back to the platform.

your directions were the easiest to follow, but i STILL cant find the stinkin platform that brings me to the third coin. :\
