To go dowsing you have to meet Tracy the Moutains caretaker.
To meet her you have to fix the Highlands and Forest perfectly.I covered it in just trees and it worked.Hope that is what you ment.
But, if your asking how to dowse you take your stylus on the screen and tap around until the little motion waves are red then hit the ! And slide your stylus across the screen until you dig up whatever you struck.
