I've let Lily and Larry both down once before. I know where you find boar pigs - the plateau - but I cannot get one to approach me! Which food? Which technique? What items?
The same goes for Lily's pet. I've found it in Babbling Brook many times before but it simply won't approach me, not even with big fish and items. How do you do both? Thank you.

I'm glad to see someone else is still playing this game about 5-6 years after it came out xD.
To catch Lily's pet, simply go to wherever you caught that pet in the first place. It will say "It's Lily's Pet (it will say it's name) and then you simply apply the skills you use to catch pets. You could use objects, like the cans, but make sure they are effective.
To catch a Boar Pig, go to the places you go to get pigs. Use objects, and corn. This takes lots of attempts, but it will work eventually.
