How do I get onto my boat or drive my car

If you mean the first boat that you get then you go to the pier, and go down the first wooden walkway that you come to right hand side. There should then be an option to get on once you have spoken to all of the right people. If you mean the second boat that you get, then you go the very end of the pier and go up the steps. I don't think that you go in your car, it just unlock new places for you to go.
