On the Vesper Defense Outpost (the third place you win along with another planet) to get to the boss portal it says you have to have three artifacs. I only have two of them. I see one right above me after the room with all the floating alien bug things. Is that a good one to get? If it is, can you tell me how to get it? If it isn't, can you tell me which one to get? Thanks a lot!

Wait a minute. I think I'm confused. You got the one in the room with the boss portal, right? If you did, then I think the one you're looking for is the artifact where you need to beat Sylux to obtain. Have you beaten Sylux? If you didn't, then that's the one for you.
Go to the start of the room and go to the other side of the room. There should be a platform moving up and down. Get on it, and go up. There's a ship deck portal up there just in case you want to go to your ship and save. Continue forward and you should reach a room where there are three tunnels. Go in the farthest one and you'll see Sylux. The rest is for you to find out!
I'm not exactly sure where you are, so I'll just tell you from the beggining how to get the third artifact.
On your way to getting the second artifact, you should've passed a little Morph Ball door. Enter there, and you will find yourself in a large maze room. There should be a moving platform. DO NOT GET CRUSHED BY THE PLATFORM COMING DOWN or you will have to start over. Jump onto the platform and ride up, rolling left when it has risen all the way up. You should hit a launcher. Shoot yourself up and follow the path until you reach a small room where you will need to scan four spectral locks to obtain the BATTLEHAMMER, the bounty hunter Weavel's weapon.
Now head back to the maze area. Return to the beggining of the maze room (not including the starting tunnel and you should see some platforms attached to the walls above you. Work your way upwards, then left, drop off a small ledge and then right. You should see a tunnel in the wall. Pass through it, and you'll end up in a large room where you'll need to use your new weapon to pass into the next area (same room). In there, you'll need to fight some annoying robos (including a turret), then scan two spectral locks in the room.
Return to the maze room. From where you are, go right and drop, go left and ride down the platform again, then go all the way left. You'll pass through another tunnel into a room where you have to fight more robos. Once you've done your works on them, two force fields should go down beside a wall. Pass behind the wall and roll int a tunnel that should be back there and shoot yourself up with the launcher in the back. The third artifact should be in front of you.

P.S. Oh, and before I forget, the boss portal is in the same room as the last artifact, but first you must defeat a Guardian who has the VOLT DRIVER, the bounty hunter Kanden's weapon. AND BE WARNED! Like Kanden, the Guardian can screw up your visor.
