Imagine you need to draw 4 "Loch Ness Monster" shapes which are made up of a square (2x2 cell) 'rear end' with a 2x1 cell 'torso along the bottom of the figure, from which rises a 2x1 cell 'neck' and then add a 1x1 'head' which faces away from the monster's rear. The first 2x2 'rear' is in the top LH corner of the original field and the torso comes down the LHS. You then end up with another 2x2 'rear end' in the lower LHS corner to start the next Nessie.
