Where's the gate in Polastaits that you have to open with donkey kong?

Please help, I've looked everywhere but I still can't find it! Answers would be much appreciated :3

It's not a gate, it's a metal pole near the ice pillars at the long pier in Northern Polar Straits.
DK must climb up it in a mini game.
