Im stuck at trying to get up the stairs and into the observatory before the time runs out, what to I do??

If your talking about the present castle, (or past castle), you need to become a ball and roll up

You need to learn the ball move and then you can go up the stairs keep trying and soon you will get it.

oh, and don't try to send the babiess up before you start the timer, so they just hit the top when it appears, i tried, they are too short to reach either block.
