I am in the part of thwomp volcano and stuck at the part where there is a propellor in the cave and a sign outside it saying you can't float in it or be flat as pancakes, and I'm stuck! I got the babies inside standing on the grate above the propellor but can't get the adults in! What do I have to do?

You can't take the adults in. Instead keep going with the babies and use one of the pipes to get the adults back later
You need to flatten the babies with mario before they enter. They will float only if they are flat. You can flatten them by using the mario/luigi spin, spin into them. Hope this helps.
