I don't know how to change the speed or anything else on the karts but, I do know
How to change the weight of a kart. For an example if you put Bowser with the
Poltergust 4000 the weight would go up.If you put Luigi with the Tyrant the weight would go down.
P.S. This has nothing to do with what I put above. I just want to give you a challenge.Beat my record time in figure 8 circut. My time is: 1:26:221.Iam not trying to showoff I just want to challenge you.If you beat it...........MAN YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be honest, there is no "best combo", but there are many various options. I prefer to choose a kart and character with the following attributes: low weight and low drift (for snaking), high handling, and high or medium acceleration.
