Question for Mario Kart DS
People say that in balloon battle mode you either blow into the mike or hold down select to blow up balloons, well do you have to plug a mike in?

No, you don't have to plug a mic in. All you have to do is blow into the built in mic that is located right beside the volume buton and under the second botom screen. There is a little hole there, thats the mic.

No, the microphone is BUILT IN! That is the cool thing about the DS. The possibilities are ENDLESS.........endless............endless...........endless.......! But you can only blow up balloons if you are not holding the A button.
P.S. The mic. is faster. I suggest Tart top so you can blow the balloon up in midair on the boost so 1. You will be harder to hit, 2. You will still be moving.

Dude check your ds, right under the touch screen is the mic, it's oppersit the power lights, you don't need to plug owt in it just let go of all the buttons and blow in it!

The mike is bulit inside the ds theres a hole next to it is the words mic. Just blow there I hope I helped

Under the touch screen is a mic. It says mic to the right of it. It is the thing that doesn't light up.

the mic is in the middle of the screens ull c a line halfway between the power sign and to work the mic u have to blow into the touch screen or the mic if it asks u to clap like in mario and sonic at the olympic winter games then clap
