You have to build up a friendship because they stop making stuff for you if they don't like you. Search around the beaches for oil drums, the first time you use them to store water but the second time (in the quarry, the second "house") you can make with 1 rope and 1 log to make a bath. Then, after 7 o'clock, you can play a minigame and if you did it perfect (so not too hot water or too cold water) they start to like you. Because you need a rope you first have to give them lunch-boxes (not after you say: "eat this" or "take this" but after "i've got a gift for you" then they make a happy sound, after a few lunch-boxes I think they will make some rope for you, then you can build the bath.
