I have tried equipting my bow but it wont work. When I go into items and tap it, the only option it gives me is to discard it. I know in lost in blue 2 you don't need to equipt arrows but in lost in blue 3 do you need to some how??

If you play as claire you can't hunt, you have to ask james or sam to go get some food but the best one is james because you've got a high chance that he also get lard and fur. Lard is for deep frying or making a torch for(as example) the bat cave or the night. The fur is for making your beds and table&chairs better. If you're a man there's something wrong because normally you can hunt as a man.
You have to have an arrow in your pack when you hunt. Go to menu, tap the bow, tap equip, and you're on your way. Hit the Y when you see an animal and you're ready to shoot using the A button or your stylus
