wich comes first finding james or making the bridge

Hi PLEASE help me I'm stuck. What do I do first make the bridge using rope or finding james. Another question would be how do I make rope or where is james and how do I find him and resque him?

First you have to make the bridge, James is on the other side. You can find tree vines in the jungle, then go to your cave and ask your partner about the vines. They will mention rope, and then you can make it. Once you have rope and logs, (also found in the jungle) then go to the bridge and make the bridge. Hope this helps!

Also you should make sure your other partner is with you when you go to James because they know each other in some way (Claire knows him atleast thats what know) and James will just scare you away if thier not with you.
