There is actually more than one way to solve this puzzle. I originally thought you had to use all the crates and that you had to jump from the platform only...not so. Try looking at the puzzle as if you're jumping onto a crate right were the entrance is.

I'll try to explain it..
The puzzle should look like this, with 1 through 3 being the crates and a through l being the stone blocks. - means, blank space.

A ->

*and as I said, you'll have to jump from the entrance. Hit the button on the platform first to fill the room with water and run to the entrance to jump on crate "3".
