Question for Lost in Blue

Im playing in Keith Mode and trying to give the empty bottles to Skye so that she can milk the goat. Ive tried every option and she still refuses them. Ive even tried giving them to her while cooking and she isnt getting the hint. Theyre showing in her inventory.
How do I get her to accept the bottles so that the goat doesnt die AGAIN?

The problem is, Skye is a dunderhead while being controlled by the computer, as is Keith when you play in Skye mode. Your only hope is to give her plenty of bottles w/ water and keep the barrel full, and hope for the best. If all esle fails, beat the game as Keith and pray that the computer brings you goat (all I got was a measly chicken).
