Question for Lost in Blue

Hi I'm thinking of buying Lost in Blue for Christmas, and it will also be my first nintendo DS game. Please can anyone tell me:
1) What do you actually do in the game? Is it like try and see how long you and the girl can stay alive, or is it like do certain things?

2)Is there any other games that you would recommend for nintendo DS?

1) Well, you do try to stay alive in the game, but that's not all you do. You survive as long as you can until you can find a way off the island. During the time you spend on the island, you catch fish, hunt, make tools, cook, and so on.

2) I'd reccomend Mario 64 DS.

1) I think Lost in Blue is one of the best games I have ever played on any game system I have ever owned. I, personally, love role playing games such as Harvest Moon and The Sims 2, so this game is perfectly matched for me.

In the game, you have to help Keith and Skye survive the best they can on the island by searching for food, hunting, and discovering more of the island. It was a little difficult in the beginning for me because I had trouble finding everything, but it could just be my problem!

Once I got the hang of it, however, it was easy to discover new paths and things around the island.

2) Some games I would recommend for the DS are any Nintendogs game, Mario 64, Mario Kart DS, and GoldenEye: Rouge Agent.

If you like this game then there is also Lost in Blue2 its better than 1 also Lost in Blue3 i think this one is the best there are more ways to get off the island and the game has a great storyline
