I'm having difficulty defeating the Balrog. Can any one please advise me on how to do it?

At first you have to attack him with ranged attacks. Then when it says to attack him with the sword do it. Then it will appear a beam, you go there and attack him with the beam.

Not too helpful for me... The lightning either strikes gandalf and kills him, or i stand next to it and i miss it.... What do I do? Do i press on gandalf or the Balrog as the lighting strikes, or what? Do i stand on the spot before it strikes or run to it as it is striking?

from dan, avoid 3 or 4 time dragon attack , shoot with gandalf, when dragon on is knee go under belly and staff once , back up to left spot and block lightning to redirec at dragon. twice on the left and twice on the right spotSearch for more answers for LEGO The Lord of the Rings or ask your own question here.
