Question for LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean

In LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean for Nintendo DS.. In the area with the tavern (where you purchase characters and extras[i really don't know what that area is called?]) I was wondering if there were any secrets in that area. I see this big door on the right side of the area,in between the first bldg. And the tavern... Is there anything more to that? Thank you.

Go inside and see. I noticed there was a box with a crank in it .
