Question for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7
HP 5-7 (ds) - I have purchased the x8 multiplier, but it does not seem to be working. Can anyone explain what I should be looking for? Gold studs are still 100, silver are still 10, and blue is still 1000....

You need to activate it every time you get a extra press start go down to extras press a and check if it says yes or no if no press a to say yes and then press start

I'm playing Lego Harry Potter5-7 DS and I can't get my extras (multiplier x2 & x4 to work. I tried what you suggested,but there's no yes or no on my extras menu. There's only "a" for select when you purchase an extra and "b" for back to exit into game. Is there another extras menu on the DS version?
