You can't. You just have to make your way up to the top and hit the snakes head or tail with spells if they're in your way.

First you go to the rocks when the snake has lazer eyes then he tries to headbutt you. Dodge it and he loses 1 life, be harry and talk to the snake door.
Then on the oppisit of the screen. There will be another rock bundle make him headbutt it and he loses
Another life.the rest I don't know.
