Question for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4

In the chamber of secrets secret cave how do you make the spider thingy burn the web without the dark spaces in your way? I've tried growing the mushrooms and I try different places nothing seems to work.

Are you talking about the fire crab? If you are, you have to grow the mushrooms in a path that doesn't go through the dark spots. So if Harry (or whoever you're playing as) goes through the dark spots, the fire crab will, so don't do it. The first one is right in front of you, then one off to the left, then the middle, then I think to the right, after that I'm not sure, but hopefully you can do it from there. I hope this helps!
