You have to get the key and go through the door, use hagrid to move the blocks then walk along the book edges :-) x

that doesn't help. i've tried and tried and still cant do it

I found this quite frustrating, too. There's a staircase to the bottom of the room (I'm playing on an iPhone) and you need to walk up the staircase then follow the trail of the circular blocks. There's a gap to jump over to get to the skull.

This is trickier than you might think because, on the iPhone at least, the screen is very dark so it is nearly impossible to make out the staircase.
