all you do is go on the highest platform then shoot his tail until you reach the top

it will not let me go to the next highest platform im on the part were the head is one place higher then the tale and theres three platforms under it you have the ability to pt a spell on the middle but it just kills u idk wat to do

if you go up to the very top of the brick thingy's, then there's a sword waiting for you(on the very right top)

You have to jump on the platforms untill you reach the top of the tower. There will be a little round thing and you have to hit it. The will be a blade and it will glow green. Do the spell and a mini movie will come up. TA DA you beat the snake

Had the same problem, realized that you don't use the up platform, once the tail is gone from the right tile, jump on it then you can keep jumping to the right and will move on.
