you have to hit the snakes tail with reducto a couple of times when he has gone be quick and jump other wise he will come back when you get to the top you will see a barrel ruse reducto on it and you will find griffindors sword lift it up and it will automaticly stab the basilisk

the snake is dead and i am still stuck in the chamber with nothing else to do ! what do i do?

stuck jumping platforms with no progress, can't go far forward or back! frustrating

I had the same issue but you really just have to time it right and jump as soon as possible, I got though it but I think I may have just gotten really lucky!
